Silverrudder™ – Challenge of the Sea – is an annual singlehanded sailing regatta starting and finishing in Svendborg and raced around the island of Funen, Denmark.
This year the race starts on Friday 18th of September 2026 and the shortest distance is 134 nautical miles.
The race has very simple rules and no mandatory navigational marks exist from start to finish. Within the race we organize the European Championship for First 27 SE each year.
This year we would like to invite all BENETEAU boats participating in the event to join us – so we would make this a general First sailboats event, uniting the old and new fleet of Beneteau First!
