Solitaire du Figaro Paprec 2026: Paul LOISEAU wins the BENETEAU Rookies Trophy!

A cornerstone of the offshore racing calendar, the Solitaire du Figaro Paprec remains a landmark event for skippers, partners and the entire nautical industry. BENETEAU congratulates all competitors, as well as the organizers, partners and volunteers who contributed to the success of this 2026 edition.

The Solitaire du Figaro Paprec 2026 has delivered its verdict after three weeks of intense competition. Following three legs (Perros-Guirec/Vigo, Vigo/Pornichet, Pornichet/Le Havre) and nearly 1,600 miles covered, it is Nicolas LUNVEN who takes the overall title of this 57th edition, with Paul LOISEAU claiming victory in the BENETEAU Rookies standings.

Setting off from Perros-Guirec on 17 May, the 36 entered skippers had to navigate varying conditions, make critical strategic calls and contend with an exceptionally competitive field.

BENETEAU Rookies Trophy standings

From the very first leg, Paul Loiseau (Région Bretagne – CMB Espoir) established himself as the top rookie — a performance he reinforced by winning both the rookie and overall standings on the second leg as well.
In the final leg between Pornichet and Le Havre, it was Paul Cousin (Région Normandie) who stepped up, taking the rookie honours for that stage.
Thanks to his consistency across the full course, Paul Loiseau ultimately clinches the 2026 BENETEAU Rookies Trophy, awarded to the best first-time participant in the race.
