Heading to Porquerolles for the 9th edition of Oceanis Med
50 sailing boats, 200 enthusiasts, a unique event
Created by Oceanis sailboat owners, the Oceanis Med has brought sailing enthusiasts together for almost ten years.
This 9th edition gathered nearly 200 participants and 50 sailing boats in June.
The three-day event took place in Porquerolles, in the Mediterranean. The days were marked by moments of sharing and sailing.
On Thursday, the crews docked in the island's harbour before attending the welcome briefing and enjoying a generous buffet. The perfect opportunity for all owners to get to know each other.
The following day, it was time for the traditional Grand Parade, during which the 50 Oceanis yachts sailed in procession to the port of Hyères.
Afterwards, participants who wished to were able to take part in a "pétanque" tournament. Everyone had the opportunity to end the day with a convivial dinner.
Saturday was spent sailing the regatta on the sunny Porquerolles waters. The event ended in the evening with an awards ceremony and a gala dinner.
For several years now, the BENETEAU team has been proud to support the Oceanis Med association and help to organise this event. This year, we were delighted to provide a committee boat for the regattas.
The crews also received a polo shirt branded with the event logo, in partnership with Raymarine, as well as personalised goodies in the form of flags and tote bags. A photo booth was also available to capture memories of the weekend.
The Oceanis Med is not just an event for Oceanis owners in the Mediterranean: every year, it helps strengthen our sense of community between owners, but also between owners and the BENETEAU teams. A relationship based on trust and sharing that we wish to continue promoting.
