Victory goes to KALLEMANS in 3 days 8 hours 44 minutes and 47 seconds. Congratulations to the Danish skipper who wins a BENETEAU paddle!

Congratulations to the French skipper RAFAL71-TPN who takes second place on the podium in 3 days 8 hours 45 minutes and 45 seconds. Australian skipper MIDNIGHTFOILER  gets the 3rd place in 3 days 8 hours 44 minutes and 48 seconds. 
 

BENETEAU OWNERS RANKING

The Argentinian boat AUDAZITO-EME4 finishes 1st in the BENETEAU Owners ranking in 3 days 9 hours 7 minutes and 16 seconds. Two French owners are second and third with the boats MTZ8493-EZ and M63-EZ.

Congratulations to the Australian teams with VAMOOSE and MICAH LANE. The French boat TECHNIC MARINE GPE CDO is 2nd.

WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY

I joined Virtual Regatta in 2015 and have done a lot of races there. During the years I learned a lot about strategy/ navigation in the races. The Beneteau Cup 2020 was my second win. I will never forget that either. The Oceanis 40.1 performed well on all points of sail and that helped me into a good position for the last gybe towards the finish. It was a very close race to the finish and luckily I managed to cross the line first. You should know that I enjoyed the Oceanis 40,1 during the race. I would love to have a chance trying the Oceanis for real one day.

Thanks you for the organization and the support in this incredible regatta! In first point it was a beautiful experience since we’re in social distancing because of COVID-19 and this regatta allows me and some of my sailors friends to sail together discussing strategy, weather, routes and that buoy round in Menorca! The New Oceanis 40.1 looks great! Couldn’t stop watching the 3D view to see my boat sailing! Sailing in a beneteau is always comfortable and efficient, hope we can all come back to sailing as soon as possible and enjoy the sea.

What a great experience, for my first participation I got caught up in the game. I made some mistakes at the start, a hesitation on the road and a change of buoy that I took half an hour late. But no regrets with a very nice finish with VAMOOSE. I'm really looking forward to discovering this beautiful oceanis 40.1 and test her. Thank you to all the BENETEAU team for this great experience and see you soon on virtual or real seas.
