For the first time, BENETEAU calls upon an external architect. 1976 was to be a decisive year for Vendée shipyard. With André MAURIC, everything is rethought (the sail plan, the keel, the interior layout, the shape of the roof), this boat is called the First. During its presentation at a boat show in Paris it is a revelation and is to become a legendary series.
