Organized jointly with Asia Pacific Boating and the Asian nautical press, the Asian Boating Awards ceremony took place at the opening of the 12th Singapore Yacht Show on 7 April 2016.25 awards were attributed at this evening event, including that of Personality of the Year, awarded to Carla Demaria, Managing Director of the BENETEAU brand and President of Monte Carlo Yachts. Simpson Marine, BENETEAU’s representative in Asia, was awarded the trophy in the 'Best Brand Presence in Asia’ category.
