Poussé par le vent : Sets sail for Martinique !

Windsurfing, paddle boarding & bathing in warm Caribbean waters!

MALOYA IS BACK!

Our three adventurers continue to sail round the world, on Maloya, an Oceanis 411 Clipper. This time, we find them in a small corner of paradise in the middle of the West Indies archipelago, in Martinique!

IN THE TROPICS

They made their first stopover in Anses d’Arlet for fuel and supplies, before setting sail for Saint Pierre and Mount Pelée, a volcano that is still active and that last erupted in 1902! On the way, Aurélien caught his first big fish: a magnificent 90 cm gilthead bream! The couple then enjoyed a succession of sports, kitesurfing, windsurfing and paddle boarding on the East coast of the Island of Flowers (Madinina). They moored in dream surroundings and soaked in the creole atmosphere.

CALM BEFORE THE STORM

With the hurricane season arriving, Sarah, Aurélien, and Nael experienced the strengthening of Beryl, upgraded from a tropical storm to a category 1 hurricane, when the rest of the world was glued to the French football team’s matches on TV. Next destination? The couple and their ship’s boy will be heading to the Grenadines, where they will be sheltered from hurricanes for the next four months.

RELIVE THEIR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS!

From Brazil to French Guiana, here are some of their most memorable moments on board Maloya, since their Atlantic crossing.
