The future skippers of the first Figaro 3 yachts at the Nautic boat show in Paris
Over 40 skippers met up at the BENETEAU sailing yacht stand on Saturday, 8 December 2018, to draw the hull numbers of their Figaro BENETEAU 3 yachts!
A large number of the Figaro BENETEAU 3’s future owners responded to the invitation to participate in the great draw for the hull numbers of their foiling one designs, before the large public audience on this opening day of the Nautic boat show in Paris.
“Numbers 1, the prototype, to 5 went abroad. We allocated the numbers 6 to 51, which will all be delivered by end January. The following yachts will then be delivered every four days,” said Luc Joessel, BENETEAU’s Sailing Yacht Product Manager.
Nearly fifty Figaro Beneteau 3 yachts have already left the Beneteau Racing Division factory in Cheviré near Nantes. They will be delivered to their owners in the first few days of January.
Among the buyers, the young skippers of the current Solitaire circuit were also there for the occasion, alongside well-known names in offshore racing, such as Michel Desjoyeaux, Franck Cammas, Armel Le Cléac’h and Alain Gautier.
Roll on 2019! So that we can see some serious racing!
