BENETEAU and the VENDÉE GLOBE : a historical partnership

BENETEAU has supported the Vendée Globe from the outset and will be a technical supplier for the 5th time running. 

This year, international journalists and photographers will be on board the BENETEAU fleet which is composed of  7 Barracuda 8, 5 Barracuda 9, Swift Trawlers (30, 35, 41 et 47) one Antares 32 and the new Gran Turismo 36. 

Closure of the Vendée Globe village

Due to the national lockdown announced on Wednesday evening, the Vendée Globe has closed its doors on Thursday October 29th at 11.59pm.

The fleet is getting ready. The "covering" operation has begun.


The BENTETEAU fleet is moored in Port Olonna, in front of the Vendée Globe village.
