Oceanis 51.1 launched in the UK by Alex Thomson

Oceanis 51.1, the first in a new generation of Oceanis cruising yachts, was launched at The Southampton Boat Show by Alex Thomson on 15th September 2017. Alex Thomson is a major talent in international yacht racing, finishing second in the 2016 Vendée Globe and leading the way in performance sailing aboard HUGO BOSS since 2003. Alex pushes the boundaries in sailing with record breaking results (he has completed the fastest solo circumnavigation of the globe in a monohull), and awe-inspiring stunts.

The Oceanis 51.1 has already been nominated for European Yacht of the Year 2017, and is the first in a new generation of Oceanis sailing yachts celebrating the 30^th anniversary of the range. She will be on display at TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show till  24th September 2017.
