New Beneteau Sailboat Models Announced to Debut This Fall
Two new models to debut this fall
The Oceanis 35 and 38 models of the past, known for their customizable layout, have evolved into two new models for 2017 with redesigned interiors and exteriors, offering a choice of ten versions in all.
"Beneteau has proven once again that we listen to our customers and dealers to make exceptional boats even better," said Chris Doscher, sales director for the sailboats division. "Our open lines of communication and innovative building techniques have enabled us to do what many thought impossible, to build an even better Oceanis 35 and 38.”
The chined hull by Finot-Conq Architects, a desirable but uncommon feature in boats of this size, provides comfort and balance under sail. With twin rudders, masts positioned further aft and optimized sail plans, the two hulls deliver excellent performance and stability underway.
A new L-shaped galley located on the port side of the 45-degree companionway provides a facing seat salon arrangement which creates seating for eight around the table. A long galley layout is still available. The chart table has been made more practical and suited to the needs of today's sailors and even folds away creating additional space in the salon. The owner's cabin is now accessed by double doors offering privacy when needed while maintaining the sense of openness characteristic of their predecessors.
The Oceanis 35.1 and 38.1 combine practical features, performance, elegance and personalization normally unheard of in sailboats of this size.
