THE GREATEST NAMES IN DESIGN

In the last fifty years, BENETEAU has practically doubled the average speed of its yachts. Safety, comfort and simplicity of use have progressed incredibly, making the pleasure of sailing much more intense. Experts in the interpretation of dreams, our marketing teams have multiplied the restrictions in their specifications. Each new boat project is a challenge to which our design offices, production engineers and the best naval architects are committed. Through our loyalty to these outstanding designers, we gain a significantamount of time in the development of models and we are able to entrust each of them with projects that are close to their heart.

ANDRE BENETEAU ET FRANCOIS CHALAIN

André Bénéteau was a naval architect and François Chalain in charge of development. For more than 30 years, they cultivated their creative talent and were to give birth to all the BENTEAU ranges and models. Very keen on innovation,
driven by their complicity, these two designers were able to create, but also to pass on their know-how. These were the conditions for the success of the business.

JEAN-MARIE FINOT ET PASCAL CONQ (GROUPE FINOT)

They have been part of the BENETEAU family since 1979, taking part in the design of the continually high-performing First and Océanis boats. Last boat designed for BENETEAU: renewal of the under 40 feet Océanis boats.

JEAN BERRET ET OLIVIER RACOUPEAU (BERRET RACOUPEAU YACHT DESIGN)

These experts in long-distance cruisers have actively contributed to developing the First and Océanis ranges by making them more seaworthy and more accessible.
Last boat designed for BENETEAU: renewal of the over 40 foot Océanis boats.

ANDRE MAURIC

First exterior designer to have worked with the BENETEAU boatyard. He started the First saga in 1978.

BRUCE FARR (FARR YACHT DESIGN)

Called upon for the design of the racing cruisers centred on high-performance and one-design.
Last boat designed for BENETEAU: First 34.7.

GERMAN FRERS

The well-known Argentine designer developed large boats, over 40 foot, for BENETEAU, in the 1980s.

PHILIPPE BRIAND

Actively contributed to the development of the Océanis in the 1980s. He now brings his expertise to the design of maxi yachts and the large First boats. Last boat designed for BENETEAU: First 50.

MARC LOMBARD
