Two new Beneteau Models in the Moorings fleet
The Moorings is preparing to debut a group of all-new Beneteau models in the Caribbean for winter 2016.
The world’s premier yacht charter company, The Moorings, is preparing to debut a group of all-new Beneteau models in the Caribbean for winter 2016.
Coming to St. Martin, St. Lucia, Grenada and the British Virgin Islands, the Beneteau-built Moorings 48.4 (Oceanis 48) designed by Berret Racoupeau is an ultra-spacious sailboat featuring four en-suite cabins and room for up to ten guests.
Inside, large portholes illuminate the 48.4’s air-conditioned interior, accessed with ease from an expanded and gently sloping companionway. Light taupe cushioning compliments the contemporary oak finishing, making for an elegant ambiance both inside and out.
Outside, the 48.4 features a convertible transom that drops down to become a convenient swim platform. The mainsail arch and centered mast allow for increased comfort and stability from her dual helms.
With all lines leading aft to the cockpit, a state-of-the-art Raymarine Navigation system, bow thruster and 75hp Yanmar diesel engine, the 48.4 is an intelligently designed platform and great for yacht charterers.
Coming to St. Lucia and Grenada in December, the Moorings 42.1 (Oceanis 41.1) is a stylishly sophisticated monohull.
With a new focus on layout, her easyaccess companionway descends into an airy saloon accented with light oak paneling, oversized portholes, and all the accommodations to make you feel right at home.
The master cabin includes a double bed with an en-suite bathroom shower, while two additional cabins share another full bathroom, allowing room for up to six guests. With a mast positioned further back than her predecessor, The Moorings 42.1 ensures excellent balance under sail and increased comfort both inside and out.
“I’m delighted that our extensive monohull range will be expanded further with the introduction of these two beautiful new Beneteau models,” says Josie Tucci, General Manager of The Moorings. “I know they will delight guests with their modern look, comfort aboard and great sailing performance. Plus with more of our popular 38’ and 45’ models arriving in the Caribbean this winter, get ready for some superb warm water sailing!”
