STRENGTH OF DESIGN

Sailing on a BENETEAU is an art of living in its own right. Well-being and elegance mixes with sporting pleasures. Each new boat arouses the keen
commitment of our designers, taking on increasingly specialized challenges. Today, it is all about extending the limits of space without harming seafaring performance or industrial progress.
Creativity is closely framed by the form of the hull, the inherent functions of sailing and the safety requirements on deck. It is also marked by material and assembly constraints linked to the marine environment such as mechanical response, corrosion, sun, etc.
However, without constraints, there can be no exploits ! So, our designers juggle with these requirements to offer our boats maximum habitability and a good balance between deck & hull fittings and clear vision. All this is already a large task, but is not sufficient for a BENETEAU. Attractive both from far off and close to, timeless yet modern, it must bestylized in order to appeal to the beauty lover that lives in each owner.

THE GREAT NAMES IN DESIGN

To venture away from the beaten tracks of marine tradition, combining performance, ergonomics and aesthetical qualities, you need audacity.
From 2002, BENETEAU took an innovative gamble in entrusting the renewal of the Ombrine range to a great name in design. The talent of Patrice Sarrazin was to give a noticeable new lease of life to these dayboat launches. This fine and long collaboration was to be continued with the renewal of the antarès range. More recently Pierrangelo andreanni, a great name in Italian design, was entrusted with the new range of Open boats, in a very Mediterranean spirit. With strength of Personality, all these artists forget conventional ideas, without ever losing sight that they should create extremely seaworthy yachts.
